The Graham Academy was founded in 2008. We began our journey in Luzerne, PA providing an educational experience for students in 1st through 6th grade. In 2014, The Graham Academy’s growth and desire to educate more students created a path to a new location in Kingston, PA. The Kingston campus provided additional space for learning as well as the opportunity to expand into high school. The Graham Academy provided an educational experience for students in Kingston for grades Kindergarten through 12th grade until January 2018. On January 2, 2018, The Graham Academy proudly opened a second school in Luzerne, PA located at the original site where our journey began in 2008. Currently, we are operating an Elementary School in Kingston for children in grades K – 8, and a High School in Luzerne for students in grades 9 – 12. The Graham Academy was acquired by Specialized Education Services, Inc (SESI) in 2020. SESI is a premier provider of education services for K-12 students who require additional educational and positive behavioral supports to overcome challenges that impede success in a traditional school setting.
At The Graham Academy, education is a journey of discovery. Students are given opportunities to explore their world with support and structure provided by a dedicated staff. Students enter the school with the ability to find fulfillment in an environment that treats each child as an individual and as someone who has value. Students are given tangible ways to experience being part of the school community through individual and group activities that give education meaning to everyday situations and experiences.
