The Journey of Discovery

At The Graham Academy, education is a journey. The curriculum is a combination of individualized education plans and community structured learning through discovery and experiential opportunities.

Part 1: The Individual

Each student’s IEP is the framework for students’ education. Each teacher works with the parents & school district to develop goals tailored to the student’s academic needs.

Part 2: Positive Behavior Support

The Graham Academy focuses on instilling pro-social behaviors like cooperation and problem-solving in every classroom lesson.

Part 3: The Discovery

Students are given opportunities to explore their environment to discover new strengths and interests.

Part 4: The Experiential

Experiential learning is the culmination of lessons and discovery to provide educational and fun activities.

Part 5: Community Events

Seasonal parties, science fair, talent show, and art show provide time for peers to demonstrate pro-social behavior in a community setting.

Part 6: The Transition

As students transition into high school, our goal is to provide coaching, job skill training and more for those ready to enter into the workforce.

The Graham Academy strives to remove the obstacles families experience while trying to find an education that is conducive for their child. We pride ourselves in working together with families in order to provide the most fulfilling education and positive experience for every student.

The Graham Academy maintains a rolling admissions process and accepts students throughout the school year.
